Poo Shoe

Im still a little sick to my stomach. Can I please explain? I dont have a weak stomach usually. But today was different....

I have been looking for a perfect pair of black ballet flats to add to my shoe collection, and while shopping at Target, I found some!

I was so excited to wear these cute shoes with some of my outfits at work and everywhere else because, flats are the next best thing in foot comfort to flip flops. I decided to wear them for the first time at a family photo shoot a few days ago located at a neighborhood entrance with huge rock structures with water cascading down to a pond, green grass, and tall green trees. It was a really beautiful, hidden place. The photoshoot itself was quite a hassle, but thats another story. I will say, the funniest part was my nephew slipping into the water trying to scare some ducks and then hiding behind a tree so no one would see that he was drenched from the waist down. Haha! I saw that, Ryker!

Anywhoo, fast forward to today. Casual friday called for a comfy shirt, jeans, and my 2nd time sporting my cute black flats. I got to work in the morning and sat at my desk to check in a few patients coming in. I caught a wiff of something sour in the air, and I figured it was a stinky old man in the lobby. So, I waited it out for a bit. The man got called back to see the doctor and just when i thought the stink would go away with him, it lingered. "Sicky nasty," I thought. I walked to another part of the office to break away from the smell, but wherever I went, the rank stench followed me!!!! And it kept getting worse!!! Goo!!!! I almost puked!

It drove me crazyyyyy! I had to put an end to the fowl stink! I didnt think it could possibly be me, so i looked down at my cute ballet flats and took a wiff of the "mud" that I stepped in at the lovely photo shoot previously. Turns out it was poo.

I tried to clean off the poo with water. I even scrubbed it with a disinfectant wipe. All my efforts were in vain because the poo smell still lingered.

And it lingered,

ALL DAY LONG.

So, there you go. I apologize to my coworkers (especially Silvers) who might've caught a wiff.

It was my poo shoe.

Honeymoon

Blake and I have been married for almost 2 months now! I love this manly man!

The wedding day flew by but it was an amazing day! Thanks to everyone who made it to the reception or helped in the kitchen or decorated the hall. It was so beautiful and FUN!!

We spent our first weekend together in Prescott in a beautiful cozy cabin with snow outside! Perfect weekend get away!

A few weeks after that we did just the opposite and spent a weekend in the sun on a awesome cruise!! It was Blakes first time in Mexico. He probably wont go back. We had a blast tho!

The best part about it was playing bingo. I understand why its so popular in the retired population. I would play more if it always won me a FREE CRUISE!!

Thats right! We are planning a second cruise this summer for Blakes Birthday in the Caribbean! How cool is that??!
